JONNY+JUNE is located on one of Paddington’s most picturesque street’s, Glenmore Road. Which is minutes from the famous Five Ways and The Intersection.
A visit to JONNY+JUNE is more than getting your hair done. Our clients are offered a selection of organic tea served from a fine china tea cup, flute of champagne or a signature JONNY+JUNE After Five cocktail to indulge while being pampered.
The inspiration for the interior of our salon came from the building itself. We created continuity of the beautiful ivy vine from outside to flow inside, cohesively bringing a natural harmony to our space. We made the conscience decision to allow the space to be the hero, keeping our interior design choices simple and minimalistic.
Using raw wood, our design feature is the floating ceiling. Combine our soft cream cement floor to compliment our ceiling, and the abundance of natural light, our space is nothing short of pure serenity.
A delicate citrus fragrance fills the air in the salon, which is a reflection of our JONNY+JUNE Original Shampoo and Conditioner. We designed our products to be vegan friendly, using Australian certified organic extracts and free of paragon
JONNY+JUNE can only be described as an indulgent luxe experience.
Creative Director: Simon Bright
Simon’s cutting-edge international career began over 25 years ago, in London. Before moving to Sydney in 2003, Simon spent time in New York, expanding his skills on the international stage. His global expertise, coupled with his reputation and hairdressing finesse means that Simon is a force to be reckoned with in the salon scene.
Simon’s unique technical skills – especially in the area of hair-colouring – has ensured Simon has always been at the forefront of the Australian (and international) hairdressing industry. Because of his natural skills and outgoing personality, Simon’s work has been fortunate enough to grace the pages of numerous leading publications, and he has featured on television productions such as The Salon, Sunrise, 60 Minutes, MTV, Australia's Next Top Model and The Face.
Simon has loaned his expertise to many high-profile personalities over the years, including: Lara Worthington, The Veronicas, Rose Byrne, Jackie O, Gwyneth Paltrow, Dame Shirley Bassey, The Scissor Sisters, and Jo Whiley.
Simon has recently expanded his creative flare to developing his own hair care range – JONNY+JUNE Originals. A range of Australian made, vegan and organic products designed to restore, reinvigorate and rejuvenate specifically coloured hair.
An experienced, innovative thinker, Simon really is one of a kind. And here at JONNY+JUNE we are lucky to have such a globally recognised hairdressing superstar as our Creative Director.
